| CAMPUS SUMMARY |
 |
Saint Mary College is a Catholic, co-ed, liberal arts college that prepares graduates for value-centered lives of learning, service and character, rich according to the best resources within each person.
Founded and sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth. In 1859, the sisters opened the first boarding school for girls. By 1870, the boarding school called St. Mary's Academy, moved to its permanent home on a hilltop south of Leavenworth. The academy grew, and in 1923, a joinor college, Saint Mary College, was established. Saint Mary has admitted men to many programs during its history, but it did not become residentially co-ed until 1988. With 240 acres of Kansas hillside as your backdrop, you can find your spot to think, read, study, enjoy, laugh, and to grow. You will find a place you can call your own. Saint Mary is located in Leavenworth which is right outside of Kansas City. Which most students find they like to visit and enjoy being off campus.
Saint Mary College's three co-educational campuses have a combined population of 833 students. Satellite campuses are located in Overland Park, Kansas and Kansas City, Kansas. |
